
Bed Bug Information
· Small Brownish red insects, usually 4-7mm long. Eggs are 1-2mm long, white color
· Active at night time while you are sleeping.
· Usually can be found in seams of mattresses, cracks in headboards and footboards, cracks in baseboards, clothing, couches, chairs, etc.
· Bites can appear as red bumps that are ichy. Usually see 3 to 4 bites in a straight line.
· May see blood spots on sheets, mattresses, and pillows in the morning
How to Prevent Bed Bug infestations
· Vacuum regularly, if there are bed bugs present discard the vacuum bag after using.
· Do not buy used furniture or pick up furniture from the side of the road.
· When traveling – do not put bag on beds or on floors, put luggage in trash bags and seal, inspect the bed and room for signs of bed bugs prior to unpacking.
· Wash all used clothing as soon as you bring it home. Dry in a high temperature dryer for at least 20 mins to kill bugs or eggs that may be on the clothing.
Important Information
· Moving to a new home or apartment does not mean you are rid of the problem. You can move the infestation with you.
· You do NOT have to throw away and buy all new furniture. Most furniture can be treated without any damage.

· Remove all bedding and sheets from mattresses.
· Remove all items from under beds.
· Place Bedding and ALL clothing in a high temperature dryer for at least 20 mins. Place these into trash bags and seal.
· Move all furniture away from walls, so that technician can get to baseboards.
· Clear out all closets including floor and shelves.
· Dresser drawers must be removed and placed on floor with enough room for technician to move mattresses.
· Dust cloth from under box springs & furniture must be removed or permission must be given to All Seasons Pest Control to remove them.
· All People and Pets must be out of the areas treated for 2 to 4 hours after treatment. Any one with breathing problems should remain out of the areas for 6 to 8 hours and anyone who is pregnant must be out for a full 24 hour period.
